All residents clothing is laundered on site and is included in the accommodation price. Any items that require dry cleaning/hand washing - specialist cleaning – are not included in the accommodation price. These items will be outsourced and recharged to the resident at the end of the month via sundry invoice. All clothing must be clearly labelled prior to admission and itemised for care records. Any new items of clothing purchased during duration of residency, must again be labelled and itemised for care records. These items must be handed into the care base. Any clothing that requires to be discarded, will be discussed with the resident and/or their NOK prior to doing so. This will ensure the records are kept up to date.
